ESN
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. Our mission is to foster student mobility in Higher Education under the principle of Students Helping Students.
We are about 12.000 members from 299 local sections in 32 countries working on a volunteer base in Higher Education Institutions. We are offering services to 150.000 students.
ESN is operating on three levels: local, national and international.
Intercultural experience is provided also to those students who cannot spend a period abroad: "internationalisation at home". And students who are returning from a stay abroad are beeing supported in their reintegration process in their home countries by staying in touch with international students. However, the main focus of ESN is placed on current exchange students, who often face problems and feel abandoned in their new environments.
